The Engage North Fellowship Program is a four-month placement with a community-based organization in Canada’s North, open to University of Alberta undergraduate students. In Summer 2014 (May – August), seven Fellowship opportunities are available in three communities: Hamlet of Pangnirtung, Nunavut; Dene Tha’ First Nation, Alberta; and Beaver First Nation, Alberta. Prior to the placement, Fellows will participate in a comprehensive pre-departure training program, and will be matched with a technical advisor/mentor who will assist with any technical challenges encountered.
